Missionaries to the Philippines

Mike and Jean, with the help of their friends and ministry partners, founded Kingdom Adventures International Ministries in 2000. For the next three-and-a-half years they ministered on the Island of Bohol and in Tagaytay City. Currently they live in California while they prepare for their return to the Philippines. Here's a little bit about what they've done, what they're doing now, and what they'll be doing in the future:

A Bright Future

Time is ticking down, indeed! By the first week of May the Propp family will be living in Bohol, the second southern-most island in the Philippines. Their mission is to lead Maranatha Bible College, changing it from a good school to a great institution where hundreds of Filipinos will learn to preach the Gospel, make disciples, and start and lead soul-winning churches. Mike and Jean will develop curriculum, train staff, and design the school's outreach and church-planting programs. They will also oversee the building and staffing programs of Village of Hope, a Christian shelter for orphaned and abandoned children.

A Continuing Passion

Mike and Jean have always found themselves working together in some sort of ministry. They met by working together to pioneer Deo Jireh Christian Academy, a school for indigent children in the slums outside of Manila. Since then they've been involved in teaching at a Bible college, holding children's ministry in city dumpsites, offering ministry training seminars and helping plant churches.

Getting Ready to Go

God has done much to prepare Mike and Jeanette for this next chapter of ministry. At the Londen Institute for Evangelism they've spent hundreds of hours learning from some of the best church leaders and evangelists in America. They've completed the Stadia church-planter's assessment LAB. During this time of learning, God has given them a vision of a Bible college where students are trained to plant or lead churches that thrive in the changing Filipino culture.
