Maranatha Bible College
In 1985 an in-home Bible training was begun for teaching new believers how to grow as Christians and share their faith. Those home classes grew into Maranatha Bible College, the first ministry training school in northern Bohol. It grew to be a strong church-planting ministry and led one of the fastest growing ministry in the southern Philippines. When the family leading the studies left Bohol in 1995 the college began a state of plateau. In 2000 the school had declined in attendance and was almost ready to be closed. Kingdom Adventures has kept the school afloat since then. Now we are sending Mike and Jeanette Propp to develop Maranatha Bible College from a good school into a great institution.
Teaching Students to Reach the World

under construction
Maranatha's primary purpose is to train effective church planters and leaders. Along with classroom work we will begin requiring our students to be actively involved in Gospel work:
- First Year Students serve as an apprentice to a pastor of an existing church.
- Second Year Students assist weekly at an existing outreach (an ongoing Bible study for non-Christians).
- Third Year Students are required, in teams, to start their own outreach in an unreached area.
By the end of three years students will have experience in church leadership and evangelistic ministry. Many of the outreaches started by third year students will eventually grow into new churches.
An Incredible Opportunity
Maranatha Bible College is located in north-eastern Bohol, a rapidly growing part of the Philippines. As the school trains and sends out church workers thousands upon thousands of souls will be saved. We're inviting you to join us in this exciting ministry!
